Acclimating clams in your tank,

what is the bewst way to acclimate a clam to your tank ,i know to look for priamid snails ,temp float 15 ,20 mins ,drip acclimate for 1hr and 20 mins or so ,air stone ,
can you use flatwork exit ?
what else can i look or do ,,,or is that it ,
 
You acclimate it like you would with any other livestock. You didnt mention what kind of clam? Regardless of what clam you have or thinking about getting, your light setup should be fine. Just keep croceas/maximas at the upper half of the tank.
 
Also, you should keep a crocea or maxima in the substrate for a week and then give it a rock to secure to. Even if you want to keep it in the sand just bury a rock in the sand under the clam. They will attach themselves.
