Acclimating macroalgae?

Do I need to acclimate macroalgae (bubble, razor, spaghetti) that I will plant in my new refugium today? Fish and inverts need acclimation with serial dilution with tank water and careful temp equilibration. I was told to just forget all that with the macroalgae and just plant it.

I usually just do a quick float for temperature and drop the macro's in
