That is a nice acro but it has like $200 price tag and even then is pretty hard to come by. When it comes to SPS it's all about stability with your Alk being top priority.

that's what I am seeing....I haven't bugged enough people yet. Just don't wanna jump into failure. So doing some research. Does anyone have a nano acro tank?

Run...run away now, while you still have money in your bank account. :D

IMO/IME SPS generally aren't as difficult as people make them out to be.

1. Low nutrients/ stable calc/ alk/ salinity
2. Strong, random, turbulent flow

3. Good to decent lighting

Bali green Slimer is a good one to start with. Digi and monti is also easy and fast growing. I think the easy/moderate/difficult ratings are often a big farce. More important is purchasing things that are suitable for your system. Light/flow/nutrient levels kept and ability to replace minerals that are used. Stable alkalinity is the biggest factor in growth rate for me with sps. In my big tank sps by far outgrow all other corals. In fact some outpace any coral i have ever owned. But I have a doser to add the minerals back in on a daily basis. Personally I wouldn't have a sps tank without a doser. In the tank at my business I don't keep sps and very few Lps because I don't want to mess with a doser, I don't want corals that use a lot of minerals. I put in corals that tend to like more nutrient like gsp, jasmine polys, Xenia, leathers, and the like. Many of which would or do grow very slowly in my big tank grow fast in my store tank.
I have found I really like the movement of softies too. The problem is I like all of it! I want David saxby's tank. iyou haven't watched the video google it. It is a work of art. http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=PmwBaaMS8M4&desktop_uri=/watch?v=PmwBaaMS8M4http://m.youtube.com/#/watch?v=OLRubZGWXiY&desktop_uri=/watch?v=OLRubZGWXiY

I would love to have a piece of that, problem is once they start going south it's normally too late.
