Yea, it's called Weld-On. the #4 is the really light stuff that is good for light projects, #16 is REALLY thick stuff that is used for building tanks and things like that.

These acrylic sheets are kinda expensive. I was expecting them to be much cheaper. Anyone here ever build there own sump?

prospect plastics has everything you need. they will even cut your acrylic to size. google, "prospect plastics", its in ft lauderdale. they even have a pricing list for thier acrylic sheets.

faulkner plastics in hialeah, nice people and if you buy the acrylic from them, they will do cuts for 10 to 15 bucks.

I use weldon #3 fastest setting, # 4 is a little slower, #16 is slowest setting of the three.

I built a 45gal 3/8 " sump - 4x8x3/8 about 200.00 +15 for cuts

these prices were from 2 years ago, also this is for cast not extruded.
