Acrylic tube

Anyone have some 6" od cast tube I can buy? Thickness doesn't matter... I need about 6" of it.

Or point me in the right direction to buy a small piece like that... can't use mcmaster cause the shipping is killer.

Yea but they only sell in 30"-60" lengths I only need about 6".

You're going to have to look for it on eBay like MeuserReef posted or find someone selling small pieces. I don't know of any store that sells pieces that small.

This guy on eBay sells tubes, but 12" is the shortest he has... cheap prices though

That is extruded, not cast. That makes a big difference in price. If it doesn't make a difference for the project then I would just use the extruded for the difference in $. not_sponsored specifically asked for cast though.

Yea, I contacted that ebay seller and she tried to cut me the lengths I needed from the extruded pipe but it ended up being impossible (broke the pipe). I need to drill as well so I'm looking for cast...

I find this seller's claim to be... suspicious. While cast acrylic is certainly stronger and much easier to work with than extruded, cutting a 6" length of extruded pipe (or drilling it if careful) isn't a big deal. I'll bet she just didn't want to do the work for such a small order and told you whatever came to mind.
