Adjust your shutter speed. THe more lighting there is the quicker your lens will capture the image. The less lighting (in this case) it requires longer exposure. Were talking 1,000ths of a second here.
Few things that need to be kept in mind.
* Try to turn off any flow in the aquarium. Flowing water will create blur.
* The camera should be perpendicular to the glass surface. Any other angle will distort the picture.
* Make sure the glass is clear on both sides.
* Shutter speed should be high enough to prevent blur.
* As stated above you will need to cancel the Blue from the actinic. Since Orange is on the opposite side of Blue on the color wheel, it will help cancel it.

So I tried out the orange film, and it was amazing! See below before and after pics. I was stunned at how well that worked!
So I actually used a piece of yellow/orange acrylic because I work at an acrylic manufacturing plant and it was easy to get. I was already thinking about doing a frag tank in the near future. Now I am thinking that I'm going to build the tank out of this orange acrylic to have that effect permanently. And if I don't like it, I can switch to clear later, I have an infinite supply of free acrylic.
