Added live rock...

so i went to That Fish Place in Lancaster PA today... got 5lbs or Fiji, and 11lbs of Tukani.... so now i have to total of 24lbs of live rock in my tank....

some of it had a good amount of red algea on it, most of it cured, some of it uncured, so i will let the cycle restart as it has only been 6 days since i set my tank up!

will be purchasing a RO/DI kit next weekend...

i think i may change some of my live rock around... i got a couple of decent size pieces and a lot of small ones to make "bridges" and such...

will have pictures soon.... waiting for the water to clear up some more!

im slowly moving my LR around.... but i can only do so much then the water gets all cloudy again

vacuum your sandbed and blow off all the rocks over the course of a week or two before you do it. Really helps.

wow i cannot believe how much live rock is a natural filter, before i left to go out tonight my tank was somewhat cloudy... i came home and it was crystal clear!
