Hello,
I have a mix reef tank and currently my sps has been browned out for awhile now. I do not know what is wrong, but may think it is the lighting. So any advice would help.
The parameters:
Salinity: 1.024
Temp: 77
Ammonia: 0
Nitrite: 0
Nitrate: 2-5ppm
Phosphate: .01
Calcium: 440
Alk: 10
Lights: 3 LED Par 38 and 1 175.
The corals are place half way up in the tank. The tank is a standard truvu built in overflow with a height approximately 20-24 iirc. Lights are ran 6 hours a day. I am also doing VSV daily. On a side note, I thought it was the light, so I recently switched to the LEDs. New frags that I got started browning out too, but prior to the light change.
So what could be the issue?
