I got this coral 2 days ago from my LFS Iv been looking at it in his tank for months and had to buy it but I forgot what it is. Ill post more pictures in a few minutes. My camera phone sucks the pictures don't do it justice its white with an ultraviolet like glow. Also the polyps look kind of like a type of frogspawn but alot smaller.

Picture isn't very clear ( don't worry I'm even worse at Reef pics, not picking at ya!) but it either looks like pearl bubble coral or maybe a Heliofungia..

Yeah I was thinking fungia also. I have one that looked like that when I first got it, after a couple months it turned a really nice purple.

Its two heads but one piece they are about 6 inches around each I don't think it is bleached It has looked the same for 6 months it eats well. also it was on the bottom of his pretty deep tank. I paid $60 for it I buy a ton of stuff from the guy he would tell me If the coral wasnt doing well. Its healthy enough he was willing to split it for me.

Looks like a hammer or frogspawn. In the right lighting it could be one of the orange or peach colored ones.At 60.00 dollars for 2 heads it could be those. If they are not then you might of payed way to much, but I dont think you did.So get us a better pic!!Good luck.

Any new pics of it?I have never seen E. yaeyamaensis in this color before, usually they are a bluish/dark purple color.
