AGA Overflow

anyone got instructions or could briefly tell me the ins and outs of these things? i got mine working ok, its a little noisy though. ill post pics of what i got in a little while

Are you using the stock standpipe or did you build a Durso?

i have the standpipe with the floater...............which one works better?

well, the return pump that i had was rated for 900 gallons an hour. i figuered that it was a little to much for the overflow to function silently. so i put a sponge in front of the pump intake. with the sponge over the pump intake, i think about 200 g an hour is going through the overflow. it works completely silent now, and i would say that it is the perfect ammount of flow through the fuge/sump.

will this damage the pump?

never restrict the input of a pump only the out put

maybe try a ball valve
