about a month ago i setup a 75 FO. no sump, just a rena filstar xp3, a maxijet 600, and one of those in-line heaters. i purchased a hob skimmer but have yet to receive it. all has been fine until yesterday i fed frozen krill. at first i thought it was just small food particles, but soon realized (by this morning) that it couldn't be that since there's still stuff blowing out of the return from the canister filter. where in the hell could they possibly be coming from, the intake's a good 6 inches below the water line, so no way its drawing air down. what could it be? is it just a coincidence that it happened right when i fed krill? i hate microbubbles!
