Air Pump Skimmers

Maybe I just missed this in the skimmer development line, but has there been any skimmers that used big air pumps.

Are you talking about counter current skimmers?

used to be the way it was done, using an airpump and an airstone.

microbubble airstones are extremely dense and restrict airflow greatly though, and need to be cleaned frequently.

needlewheels and becketts just do a great job way easier.
