algae growth

I am starting to see what appears to be red and green hair algae growing on my LR. I have been pretty good about controlling algae growth in my tank for some time now but I guess it caught up with me. My questions is, how do you control it? What is the best animal for eating it? I have some Cerith and Astrea snails but they seem to only stay on the glass.

Try some blue or red legged hermits .

My mexican turbos will eat any algea in my diplay other than valonia. Problem is that they have been known to break frags and other things loose from the rock if it isn't really secure.
