Well the coral gods have showed me once again not to take short cuts (diy doser). When the tank over dosed it was because test kit kept saying 6 dkh kept adding (soda ash) the test would read 9 but was more like12 dkh >And when I added the stabilizer amount it put it over the edge and the ph jumped over 9 for like 5-8 hours not good !Well not that its been 2 weeks and I'm seeing the death toll rise like a bad B flick .Need to know if I should keep feeding the tank normally or should I step it up because of the bleached out ones are making any food from algae .Lost 4 big birdsnest colonies 12" across (brown/hyacinth/ponape/bird of paradise any feed back welcome:hmm4:

best thing to do is water changes and stop dosing chems altogether, if you do the water changes your levels will go down to what the salt mix you add is, also if you stop dosing chems altogether you corals will use up what is in the tank causing those levels to drop some over a 3 day period

So water changes first and then don't add or dose any chemicals till your levels drop

If I happen to find out somthing is out of wack on the hight side, I do small water changes every couple days. That way your corals wont get shocked and parm. will level off and yuo minimize loss.
