When I test new mixed saltwater Aquaforest reef salt on api test kit and salifert it shows around 0.25ppm ammonia?. I tested my tap and rodi water it shows 0. I also tested red sea blue bucket saltmixed water and it shows 0. Whats going on?
Can't say I've ever tested mixed salt for ammonia, or that I even own an ammonia kit.
I used AF salt for years and it was great and never had issues. Used both the Probiotic and the plain reef salt. Love how quickly is mixed up.
