anemone question

I rearranged the rock in my tank to improve the circulation of the water, and my bubble tip anemone is now near the bottom of the tank being sheltered by another rock. He is not getting as much light as he was before. Do I need to relocate him to closer to the top of the tank, or will he move if he wants to? I have had the anemone for about 2 weeks.

If he is loose you can try to put him in a spot. However if he wants to move he will, and they do move to get better lighting. One of mine was once down in side the rockwork then in a few days it was out. Just watch that it doesn't cover one of your corals. Not that I am a expert or any thing, I just know what mine have done.

alright. I will just let him alone where he is. Thank you for your input. It is so funny, the anemone is stretching very long and skinny to reach for the light. Even his tenticles are stretched really long.

Feed it Sliversides too, if you haven't already. Maybe twice a month. 1/2" pieces works well if it is small.

He stretched so far that he fell off and I put him where he will have lots of light and he is doing well again. Cniderians are weird! OK I will cut a bit of silversides up for him. thanks
