Anenome Pocelain Crab!!!! found a host!!!

ok, well i walked out and after 2nd day after anenome was introduced to tank i noticed my anenome crab was hosting this anenome...this is neat ...now are my clowns gonna host also...? how long will it take clowns to host in this anenome....i need a rose BTA....also can anyone name this anenome....and its not bleached, sanjay yelled at me the day i asked him that....lol

Thats cool... I would ask over in the Anemone / Clown forum.. those guys know their stuff... I would only be guessing saying it looks like a BTA. Also in that forum their is a sticky about what clowns host in what anemone... thats where I did all my research before buying my GBTA. I would think though.. if the clowns will host, they will kick the crab out. My clowns just stared at my anomone for about 3 days... then finally jumped in. Nice pics!

hey whats it mean when your anenome spews out gunk, long stringy redish gunk, is that zooplanton its spittin out? or is it waste from eating?

I havn't seen mine do it yet, but they say what goes in must come out, and the mouth is the only openinig in and out. So they poop out their mouth. Though, i've heard it to be black not red. Check out this link.. there might some answers there.

If you could take pic of the entire anemone, not close up... that'd be cool.

You know what I want? A pom pom crab. They carry around baby anemones in their claws and wave them at stuff to try and scare them away with the anemone sting. lol

i tired takin pic of whole thing, but ,my epix kinda sucks and the pics dont show as much detail as i would like...maybe ill fool around today of all the anonomes...your gonna like my new one i got yesterday GBTA...ita awesome...you should see what bmac has....lol....your gonna freak...lol i love rubbin stuff in....
