Anhydrous calcium chloride and dosing

That'd be right if you're adding the solid. If you are dosing the 2-part, there's two lines for that, depending on whether the baking soda was baked or not.

could you point me in the right way? i havent dosed it yet because i have b-ionic two part left over. ive been using the calcium chloride and use recipe#1 for alk since i have low pH

eventually i want to move over to the DIY two part but id like to know what part in the calculator to use or how much to dose

I used recipe 1, but didnt know there was a difference?

Now that I see it it seems there is. since i have the anhydrous calcium chloride i used 20% less. so i added 2 cups to 1 gallon

On the pulldown menus for the traditional calculator, there's entries labelled "Randy's Recipe 1 Alkalinity Part" and "Randy's Recipe 1 Calcium Part". Those are the tabs to use.

im so dumb. my mind must have been elsewhere. i kept seeing "randy's recipe alk 1" in my mind when i would pull down the menu

thanks a lot Jon, you've really been a big help with answering all my noobie questions. so far youve made my transtion into this very easy
