In your article, you say "The general rule of thumb for mixing kalkwasser is one teaspoon of kalk powder per gallon of water. "
Now my question is, do you mean 1 teaspoon of pickling lime?
Also, do you mean 1 teaspoon per gallon of drip water? Or per gallon of water in the tank?
I have a 15g nano reef tank, with a 10g sump ( which is under approx 50% water utilization ).
So roughly 20g of total water volume.
Would that be 20 teaspoons of pickling lime?
And wouldn't that be a rather thick sludge to drip out of a sports bottle with half a gallon of RO/DI in it?
