Anti-Foam for Skimmer

Lately my skimmer has been producing foam that doesn't condense in the cup. It pops out the vent holes and runs down the side. I started replacing evaporate water with a kalkwasser drip about a week ago.

Any recommendations to help the foam condense?

Lower the water level in the neck of the skimmer. You're skimming "wet" as they say. Adjusting the water level in the neck of the skimmer will allow the foam to "dry" out a bit before it rises.

Thanks! I've been lowering it bit by bit for the last few weeks since I removed my bioballs and filter pads. It's done wonders for increasing yield and dropping nitrates. I'll lower it another inch and see what happens.
