i posted this in the reef forum but they told me i would get better info here so ill post it again.
i finally got my lights up ( only 4' of it lit by 6 54watt t5 in SLR on universal ballast) so im starting to stock my tank with coral... im planning a little of everything so it's a mixed reef... anything i can do other then QTing corals to 'try' and have a safe clean system of unwanted pest?? i dont have a strong light to keep over a qt nor have space to permanently keep a QT up and running ...
additional info: rps-3000 skimmer, 300 lbs + Lr, ssb , tnak been up since Turnkey Day ( everything came from my tank which was 3+ years running, i moved and took everything ) 3 mj mod 900 w/octura 1435, 55 gal turned into fuge w/dsb ( about a 15gal tall tank size) , cheato ( lit by 65k loa flood lamp ) and 2 300w rena heaters to be redundant.
