Any Echino Experts here?

I also knew the purpose of the drip. I didn't see it as a have to thing. Anybody else feel free to jump in here. It would be interesting to see how many drip, dose, or manually add. Looks like a good reason for a poll.

I have the same coral and mine is doing great. It's mounted to a rock and sitting on the bottom. It has direct light from 2 250 14k mh which I run about 8 hours a day. I direct feed 2 to 3 times a week with mysis shrimp and they have medium flow. Wish you had a pic to look at. The problem with corals is that they are picky just like us. One thing might work with one but might not work with another. Is this the only coral you are having problems with? If it is then I would say it's a placement problem. If you are having growth problems with other corals, I would say it's a water quality problem. Oh, I do add Magnesium and Iodine once and a while. Not a lot. And I dose with Kalk. Again not a lot.

This is the only one that isn't doing good. Frogspawn, torch, candy cane, zoas and everything else doing great and thriving. This is the only problem, it's the only one of this type i have though.

Yes I have a sump. I don't have a pic. It is just the skin receeding back and leaving exposed skeleton. Doesn't look infected or abnormal

I am willing to bet it is a flow issue ... they are highly tolerant of a variety of lighting levels (except for, maybe, high up under really strong halides)

Well this one is getting a lot better. I moved it halfway up and just left it alone. At least half of the area that had receeded is now covered again. It looks so much better to have that bare skeleton covering. I guess this one didn't like being under the overhang.
