Any experience with Planet Aquariums stands and/or canopies?

I am considering the Vintage cabinet & stand in either white or gray. Not sure yet on tank size but likely 48" length.

I'd love to hear whether people have found them to be good, durable quality as far as construction and finish.

One concern I have is about the wall clearance required for the roll-top style canopy (5-6"). I don't think the Front Lift will give me the access I'll want, esp for a 48" tank.

You can customize the size of the canopy or stand.
I went with the vintage style stand 42" high.
I did however build my own canopy.

The stand has a beautiful finish, however I didn't know they make the structure with 2X4's.

I used to own an Oceanic stand and that was gorgeous inside and out and no 2x4's.

My 36" Stand is four years old and in perfect condition. The only issue I had with my 180 gallon 6' stand was the screws holding the handles where not set deep enough and where scratching the wood, so I re-drilled them to counter sink then deeper, and they sent me stain to fix the marks. I believe they use Russian Baltic Birch grade plywood which has many more plys than conventional plywood. And your going to love this; unless something has changed they have an all female cabinet work shop.

Thank you both! Very helpful.
