Bought a coral and seen this on it. Can anyone identify it? Thanks...

Kind of hard to tell, if it spits out a web then it is a vermited snail.

It really hasnt done anything since I noticed it. Just hangs out. I will look out for a web. I did some searching and you might be correct on the vermited snail, but are they bad? Some people say they are, and some say the are not. Any personal experience shared would be great. Thanks

They are kind of annoying, but I wouldn't say they hurt much of anything. Once they start irritating the corals I tend to take a screw driver to them.
