Hey All,

Looking for fellow Reefers in the Springfield/Decatur/Champaign/Bloomington area..

We use to have a nice little shop here in Decatur/Forsyth but they didn't stay open too long.. Not much for fish store's here in Decatur, have to go to Champaign (Sailfin). Bloomington use to have MadReefer? but they didn't stay open very long either.

I don't know if ANY company's around Decatur area that you can pay to come out and aquascape and/or set up stuff.

Anyway, Am I the only Reefer in Decatur area?

Thanks,

I'm in Springfield. I usually go to St Louis or Chicago for decent selection. There isnt anything around here.

Yeah, Champaign (Sailfin) is best in Central Illinois, But for you, you might as well go to St Louis.

The Fish man in Springfield doesn't have much fish/inverts usually, but atleast you have a place to get food and some supplies.

I've never looked for Fish/reef in Chicago. I hate Chicago, usually just looking to get out of there lol. Maybe I'll have to check it out sometime.

What kind of setup do you have?

I've got a 4' 120 gal. I'm not a fan of Chicago either but because of its size, there are much better places up there. Reef Wise in Westmont where I88 and I355 meet has good quality livestock and coral. Theres several others as well.

Ill have to check seascape studio out next time I visit gateway aquatics. They arent too far from each other.

Charlie just Moved Aquatic Obsessions from Bartonville to Washington.
Decent stores are kinda scarce out here in the boonies.
