Any suggestions for videos to do on YouTube?

I was wondering what topics of reef keeping I could talk about on YouTube? Any suggestions will be welcome!

I think Mr. Saltwater Tank and NYSteelio have you beat my man. I thought of doing the same thing but they have everything covered for the most part .

I am subbed to both of them! I was just wondering ways to get more views, because I made a video of my tank, it took ages to compile all different clips, add music and transitions an It only got 24 views. don't laugh. :)

I look primarily for "how to's". Build a sump start to finish and don't leave out anything and you will get hits. Make sure to use appropriate key words and titles. Build a rock wall. Build your plumbing. All you typically see is before and after BS and none of the most important in-between parts. You do that and your videos will be gold.

Good idea, but my mum hates the idea of having a sump because she says it will overflow.

Give me some ideas on some other "how to's" I could do, and I will do it. How should I structure my video? Should I write a script for the commentary or what?

I always look for comparisons of equipment and find that difficult to find. I would imagine most people are only going to review what they already own, but a video showing the difference between two different skimmers or two different pumps, etc. would be very helpful to me and others I'm sure. I think it would be much nicer to have multiple brands in one video for size, noise and performance comparisons. Probably sounds dumb to some, but just my 2 cents.

review WHATEVER you have, and everything, everything down to fish foods and sand or salt. Also, i think its neat when they have a voiceover, it makes it sound more professional because you can read a script while you talk into the mic. Always repeat things in reviews, to make sure people heard you. I do youtube reviews for another hobby of mine and im always sending emails out to small businesses asking for a small sponsorship, just to get more videos out and help them out too.

Thanks for your advice!
So maybe I wil find stuff in my tank I can talk about, write them down, then write a bit about them, then record. Sounds good!
