I have a 72 bow with oceanic stand. I have pergo floors and I have kids. I had a small flood (my fault) and I don't know how to get under it? I tied sliding it across the floor a bit but I can't get all the way underneath. What should I do. I'm sure it happens to others, so there has to be a solution?

Whatever I do, cannot jepordize the stability because of my kids. Please let me know of any suggestions!

Thanks,
Justin

i have had the same problem. i just cleaned up as best as i could and then let the floor dry and everything seemed to be ok later. it's happened more than once for me though. stupid skimmer

Try putting some paper toweling right up against the juncture with the floor and just see if it can wick anything out.
A good thing to have, and I intend to get one (lost the last one in the move), is an inexpensive water alarm: it goes off like a smoke detector if water touches it. You just set it on the floor where you have reason to think there could be unexpected water.

I too have had this problem and I clean up the best I can, and run a fan at the base of the stand and floor for a few hours. That always dried everything up.

There are rubber mats that are used in the kitchens of the food service industry, but water will also get under them...
There is a product called Damp-rid that you could hide inside the stand (maybe), that will absorb and excess moisture out of the area in question. (It also works great when someone forgets to roll up the car windows before a rain shower.)
