The Nashville Swap is this Saturday, noon to 4:00. Here's the thread with the official info It's an annual event.
Sounds like you should just come to the next NARC (North Alabama Reef Club) meeting in February. There's a thread on it here in the Alabama Reefer's forum. We have several members with established tanks who are always happy to help out a newby with frags and advice.
Speaking of which, you'll want to have your tank not only cycled but well established before putting corals in it. A lot of folks wait months before putting corals in a new tank, although that probably isn't necessary if you're just adding softies or star polyps, etc.
