Anybody here have an arrowcrab?

Just got an arrowcrab to help control algae and all day long the thing has been cruising around the tank picking here and there. Well, I just got home from the gym and the darn thing is holding the body of one of my scarlet hermit crabs and just chowing down on it. It could be that it was already dead or injured and didn't put up a fight, but I was wondering if anybody else has ever seen these guys go 'bad'. Also, there is no shortage of food with respect to algae, none whatsoever :rolleye1:. I'd like to keep him because he's pretty cool to watch but I don't want to see 200.00 in cleanup crew become lunch for a 3.00 crab.

These things are known to eat small fish on a regular basis, I think they look cool, but would never ever put one in my tank. Harmless with coral, but not worth the cleanup crew/ fishes. I wasn't aware that they even ate algae?

the reason i bought it is because it was part of a cleanup crew package from liveaquaria.com and when i first put him in the tank he was pulling bits of hair algae from the rocks... guess he decided vegetarianism wasn't for him!
