Anybody try to grow xenia with NO flourescents?

I've got Xenia in my main tank that recently became quite unhappy when I brought my sump online. I'm thinking about transfering some into my QT to see if it rejuvenates. MY QT only has a NO bulb.

Think this will work?

("flourescent" in title plus "rejuvenates" = 64 scrabble points :D )

A simple answer is yes, Xenia can be grown in NO lights. Will the one that you have work? I don't know. What are the specs? I assume a T8 bulb, but what wattage and color temperature?

I have plenty doing fine on the bottom of my 50g tank with 2X96w pc. My guess is that NO ought to be okay if you keep them relatively close to the lights.

sorry what is NO? I was wondering if I could put it in my fuge under "melev's" light from home depot. The daylight one. Thanks

Well, it's been about a week under my NO's. Tank is a 20L, bulb is a 10K daylight type, length of the tank. Xenia is about 12 inches under bulb.

So far, the Xenia isn't 100%, but then it wasn't 100% when I put it in there. I'd say the Xenia looks ok, almost sellable.
