Anyone have any velvet nudis?

My display has been nuked for flatworms, but they seem to survive and come back in a few weeks, months.... If anyone has a velvet out there, I sure could use it so I can stop killing my pod population everytime I need to kill the flatworms.

well, I've bombed the tank 4 times now over the course of the last 8-10 months. It seems that there are always a few that survive and after a couple of months, they're back in full force. No LFS' have them, and I have my name down for each one if/when they get one in stock. I can't afford to keep buying FwE al the time; not to mention that stress on the corals, and the obliteration of my pods :(

I read that the tactic is to siphon for a bit to reduce their numbers. Bomb the tank. Wait about 1-1.5 weeks then bomb again to get the stragglers. Some even suggest doing a 3rd time.

Theres another way by removing the rock and dosing it seperately in another container. I think thats how they survive. In the rock. Then dose the tank, again, seperately. This also gets most of the flatworms away from the display so theres less worries about the toxins.

When I'm ready to nuke my tank, I think I'm going with the double-bomb method. I may try the other way since I need to re-aquascape anyhow. I'm putting it off beacuse its going to be a pain regardless.

I tried the rock in seperate container method, but I couldn't remove all my rocks due to corals in palce and suck (and the fact that the aquascaping is where I want it). I'm thinking that i'm either going to have the bomb the tank 3+ times in a week to get them out of there, or let them comeback in large enough numbers to use a nudi to control them. They're only a problem in large numbers, so I dunno. But yes, it will be a pain no matter which way I go, because if the nudi eats them all too quickly, I'll have to get rid of him so he doesn't starve, and then tehre will still be some left...ooo.. but thenI could nuke the tank. . . . that may work!!
