anyone know anything about this pump?

I know the saying is you get what you pay for...anyone know anything about this pump and its' performance? It's made by Catalina Aquariums. The price sounds too good to be true. If the link doesn't work, I found it on ebay under "Aquarium pump." It's $28 plus $8 shipping for 850 GPH. Hopefully the link will work.

I just bought it, for helping out with water changes. But I haven't used it yet. I can let you know on Tuesday how it worked.

giants4pc if your not sure i would go with the mag drives i used a mag on my 72 flawless for 4 years now im using a mag 24 never any trouble for aprox 2 years .you have a 75 gal ? id use the mag 7 depending on what overflow you have just put a valve on the discharge of the pump in case you need to slow it down

Do you know how many watts it uses? I know the Mag 7 is supposed to be pretty good and not use too much juice. The Iwaki (spelling?) is much more $ but supposed to be the best. I think the biggest bang for the buck it the Mag and has a Great reputation. Just phish has them for about $56. I think that's what I might go with. He JP also has a $60 one for a pond (it just has a longer chord) and is CTARS special.
