Anyone Need a Freshwater Tank...With Livestock?

Well, I'm finally breaking away from my old freshwater habit...the one that started it all. My 10g w/ Eclipse hood has been up and running for about 7-8 years and has been neglected of late...and we just have too darn many aquariums in the house anyway. This is a nice little turnkey setup...nothing needed...I'll even throw in what's left of the awesome Spectrum food I've been feeding. I'll do a water change before it goes to a new home so it's good to go for a month or two before neeeding another one.

I don't want anything for it...just want it to go to a good home where someone will care for it better than I have been lately.

The only thing it needs right now is a pleco...I lost the last one and now the algae is growing on everything...when I had the little guy in there he kept it immaculate...hardly ever had to clean the glass, but a magnet cleaner is included too, just in case.

Here's some pics...

You can see the rather large angel at the right side and some of the tetras on the right...

This is the Eclipse 1 filtration system...it's awesome...never a problem...have two extra filters for it and they are readily available.

This is the single bulb flourescent lighting...right now I have a Coralife "20k" bulb in there...pretty nice pure white light...probably could grow plants with it...

The overall setup...pretty clean and nice...what I've always liked about Eclipses...kind of like the new generations of nanos...

Other livestock included is one shark (maybe a bala, not sure...he's silver with black stripes), a glass cat (really cool...completely see through!), lots of tetras (three or four cardinals and three or four of another species I don't know the name of...one of them looks pregnant all the time).

All items you see in the tank are included which is the gargoyle archway, the gargoyle in front of the arch, two hollow rocks (good hiding places), two nice plastic plants that look pretty real, gravel, cleaning magnet, heater, and Spectrum food.

If I don't find someone to take the whole shebang, I'll just part out...I've got people who may want the fish. I'll leave it up here for a week or so, so let me know if you're interested! This would be a great setup if you want to get your kid a tank...instead of the responsibility for a saltwater setup!

Email me at KatMan1999@hotmail.com if interested.

Thanx!

Hey Kat, I'm looking for a cheap little freshwater setup for my little one's room. Just curios but how much are you asking for the whole setup?

Thanks

As illal said...no charge...just want it to go to a good home!

Oh, I forgot to mention that I put in this really cool "bubble curtain" thing in the back...it's pretty neat. I never buried it in the gravel though...thought it would be nice for it to be but never got around to it.

Oops, it's funny cause I was looking for a price in your post and didn't see one. Now I see why. I think I might grab it off ya but let me speak with Mom, :)

Hey Kat, Mom gave her approval so we're good to go. :D

Let me know when I can come by to pick up.

Thanks

Compulou...go ahead and email me at the above referenced email address (I don't think my Reef Central one is correct) and we can arrange for you to pick it up.

Kat, I sent you an e-mail with my info to the e-mail address you provided and haven't heard back. Is this system still available? Looking forward to having this nice little setup in my little guys room.

Thanks

Still available...just haven't checked my email in a couple of days. I am checking it now and will email you shortly. Thanx!
