I was thinking about getting the Coralife 150 watt (x3), 96 watt (x4) combo unit for a 180 gallon. Has anyone used this or heard anthing about them. I would rather go with an all in one package than a retro kit. They are going for about 1000 bucks for the setup.
What I like about the Coralife is that it is pretty thin and would fit under my canopy. I'm just wondering about the quality of it. I don't really want to go with a retro kit, but I might.
i use the 48" dual 175w with 2 96w pcs and am very happy with its performance, not exactly the cheapest way to go but its convenient and clean looking.
Well I just went ahead and bought the 3 250watt set up for my 180 gallon. I was thinking about the 3 150 watt, but went for the big dogs. Hope it works out allright. Now if I can figure out how to plumb this tank, I'll be set.
