Anyone use one to keep tank crystal clear?

hey fishnugget, one of my local shops use it on fw with great results, i thought it would remove too much live food on a reef tank

I had one I used in disasters: I sold it with my other tank, and I wish I hadn't. They're a great fall-back if your nephew puts Cheerios in your reef tank. They'll filter down to 1 micron and get better as they're used---before they clog altogether, of course. There is a cannister filter that will do the same.
