anyone with a glass tank ...

What type of glass is a standard glass tank made of?

I found a site that makes there tanks from Plate Glass, or Low-Iron Glass and thicknesses from 1/8" to 3/4"

It also has a 90 day warrenty for leakage and they will dril all my holes for me for $20 a hole and $20-30 for an overflow

I was just wondering if Plate Glass/Low-Iron Glass were crappy or not. The tank is pretty cheap and I would hate to order it to find out the its going to crack.

And has anyone ordered from glasscages.com?

i have seen a couple of their tanks and they are good tanks from what i saw. One I saw was raw glass on top and no brace pretty cool looking

Check out the vendor forums. There are a lot of mixed reviews about Glass Cages. Some are great, some are horrible.

BTW, standard tanks are made from plate glass, low iron is a much clearer glass and looks a lot better, but costs more and is normally special order.
