Apex FMM- Leak Detection Probes

What's the difference between the Low Profile Leak Detection Probe and the Solid Surface Leak Detection Probe aside from the size? Is one better than the other? I'd just assume get the Low Profile ones if they are just as good.

So now I can just get the FMM, instead of the ALD?

I think the low profile one is designed to hid under carpet and such where it may not be seen. both should work the same way.

Yeah I noticed that, just wondering if there is an advantage of one over the other? They are both offered at the same price. I figure I'll order the slim one if there is no difference. The other looks heavier so may make a better connection to the floor?

I figured it out. The solid surface leak detector probes make better contact with the floor so I'll be going with a couple of those rather than the Low Profile probes.

Cody, there really isn’t much of a difference other than added weight in the solid surface detector. If space permits go with the solid surface detector.

Thanks yeah I ordered the FMM package that comes with two solid surface probes.

A while back I purchased this leak probe not realizing I needed a module haha

So does anyone have use for it? I'm assuming it only worked with the old module. Free if you can use it.
