Not sure if its open to the public or not, but it seems like i was able to access the create account page multiple times today. If anyone wants to try it out you can probably get in. https://apexfusion.com/login then click "create account".

John- Please 'splain in "Cloud stuff for dummies" language how this is off any benefit.

i can already access my Apex with my phone and ipad from anywhere with "DNS port forward or backwards" what ever its called.

The term cloud in this case just means your apex will communicate directly with Neptune's servers. This will eliminate the nee. for port forwarding and DNS services. They can of course still be used as usual but for those who just want to basically plug and play it will be much easier.
Neptune said as the beta gets going more spots will open up and be availabe so this may jist be the next phase of implementing

It makes it easier for non techie people to remotely connect to thier apex. Also, i believe they have better, nicer controls for radions, vortechs, ai's, and a couple more. however i have no experience with that part.

Basically, it sounds like people who were only able to connect(via home wifi) will now be able to connect anywhere without setting up port forwarding. Sounds good.

Your not really missing out on much. Just much easier to set up for remote access for people, and alerts are easier as well. Just put in your email or cell # for SMS and it will do the alerts automatically. You dont have to go through all those hoops anymore with forwarding, etc. Also, there are user authorizations as well, for viewers, control, program, manage and owner. That way each category has certain restrictions when accessing the account. Nice way to set up a viewer account for a friend of yours when you go on vacation to have a second set of eyes on the tank.

And the graphics are a little easier on the eyes as well.

Yeah I mean I can pretty much do the same things with a WXM module and the Radions/Vortechs since I took the time to learn everything, probably just easier to do so now.
