aquarium depot

naokao wrasse ?
Can You post a picture of this fish Im curious....
Oh and also above I left out where do you get live rock at a LFS for less than $3 a pound.
I would love to see this as most of the rock around town is about the same around $4.50 a pound ?
Now if you mean buying online did you check out how much to ship it to you ?

I don't know who Jose007 is in real life, but don't let the bickering begin. I'll stand up for Jack 100%, but the other claims with the moron or red bugs......I don't have time for that and if Jack ever came on here he wouldn't either. MANY of the lfs have mis ID'd a fish on my watch and I don't go on about it.

The point of this thread should be about the new store in our 916 area and the fact that it is looking sweet and ran by a guy who is really trying to do his best. Most of the lfs around are...

Josh You may be right.
I just called Aqurium Depot and asked about the $3 a pound they said they cant go that low.
You can ask I think it's like $4.50 a pound.
I was just at Your Reef the other day they had a tub full of rock nice looking stuff and they are always great about thier pricing.
I think also people should compare apples to apples.

Jose007, a store with nothing but damsels ??? you're blowing smoke. My first impression is that you work there or you do some major butt kissing.

is that the guy who was selling 8g tanks ( not a nano cube, mind you, just a 8g tank) with some sand, a piece of live rock and a "mated pair of clown fish" for a $100 to all the kids on the flea market ???

Not sure never saw that...

there's two people that sell fish at Denios the asian guy"Jack" who also owns the store we are talking about in this thread and there's also a hispanic guy that sells fish and tank.. I can't remember his name he's nice but he doesn't know anything about anything..

the Hispanic guy sells fish? I thought he only sold doves, chickens and lizards

the other guy ( jack) was selling ''nemos" but I don't think he is doing that anymore

Well I know he used to sell fish not sure how long its been though.. My neighbor bought several fishtanks from him... Including that 215g that Rob1991 now owns and I bought my 92g corner from him... I myself dont recall seeing any fish in his store my neighbor says he has though? So who knows.... But I dunno..

it's nice to see a lot of lfs around the sac area, cuss that gives us (reefers) a lot of stores to go to, and a lot of selection to choose from.
these guys (lfs) put in a lot of work daily to make us reefers happy. mad props to all the lfs!!!

the new place (aquarium depot) in my opinion is another very nice store. I like it just as much as all the stores in the sac area. it should be a very promising store when it's fully stocked. they have a lot of holding tanks so the selection should be good.

I like the koi pond and the waterfall :)

When I first got into the hobby(years ago) I got 7 lb of liverock from Jack for $3 lb in the Denios(sp?) shop. :D But that was years ago... lol

I have knowen Jack now for several years now. He has taken a long time to get this new store up and running. His prices are some of the best in the area. Jack and his son work hard to make sure all their customers are satisfide with their purchases.

I have purchased alot of live stock and dry good from Jack and I plan on conitnuing to do so.

Keeping the thread on track...let me say that is quite exciting to have another source in the area. Kudos to all LFS owners who are riding out this tough economic environment.
