Aquarium Silicone Sealant for DIY

Has anyone ever heard or used the sealant manufacturer before?

it is silicone and a sealant, only good for one thing...

Never heard of it.....but for an aquarium, its got to be good because that's what it was made for. I've always just used regular old GE Silicone I (with NO moldicide or additives)

I am gonna use it to build a glass tank, dont know about your last sentence as you seem you know what its used for.

Pm Uncle Of, much knowledge, look for one thats an adhesive

it is a sealant...it is not an adhesive, i would not recommend building a tank with a sealant..
how big of a tank do you plan on building?

it can be used to run an inner seal on a assembled tank...but not in a structural seam of a tank...

i honestly find it to be a shady product since it says it is unaffected by immersion in water..

on second look and comparing the product data sheet to RTV series silicone, the numbers look very similar, you should be fine building a tank with this....i would still use rtv103/8 or SCS1200 though
