Aquasurf tips -- please post

If anybody has any tis or scenarios that have worked on your tank please post them up. Don't forget to include your tank deminsions and pump configurations.
I've been able to get a decent wave (I know it can get better) I've been blindly adjusting mine with limited success.

also anybody elses tunzes give off the warning tone for a split second each cycle if you go below 25/100? Mine do so I'm leaving it at 30/100 until I can confirm I'm not damaging my pumps.

According to Tunze support you should not run the pumps below 30%; the on/off hurts the pump.

Not owning a WaveBox I was unaware of this; I will ask Tunze and let you know what they say.

I have asked this question of the Tunze rep and he made a distinction between < 30% and OFF. I am asking clarifying questions (e.g.; is 0% == OFF?) and you can follow the thread using the link above. My "guess" is that OFF really means 0% as, near as I can tell from the WaveBox manual the power level control for the WaveBox is the same as the other controllable pumps so percentages should be same.

thanks, Roger's replies make sense that on off is "different" from running the pump too low.

I think that when the tunze stream is OFF that they still pulse every 20 seconds or so.
