Are lps or sps easier to keep?

I 'm sorry. I was not trying to offend or insult you. It just seemed to me you were making anectdotal observations that to most of us didn't match our experiences.
I hope you continue to make progress in your research and I would love to hear what you found when you are ready to present that information. Good luck and again. I apologize if I insulted you!
Chris

You didn't offend me. I will be the first to admit that I don't know anything about SPS's, or at least very little. My limited experience with SPS corals is most definitely anecdotal and can not be used as factual evidence of the care requirements of SPS corals. I didn't mean for what I said to come across that way.

I have to take the word of all the SPS people when they say that they are more demanding than LPS corals in general. I also believe there are extremes in both areas. I have to believe that there are some SPS corals that would be easier to keep than Goniopora or Elegance corals of today. Where some of the reports I have read put their fatality rate around 90%.
