Please could you tell me if I purchase two Metal halides from Light store and they are 250w 10 000k would they work when I setup my coral tank or do I have puchse a special kind for corals ??
What must I ask for when puchasing the MH ??

10,000K is good for corals. I would ask what kind of ballast they come with (to determine what bulbs will work on it when you need to change them, and if something is shielding the bulbs from water splashes.
