Are these new frogspawn heads forming?

the little purple dots on the lower part of the flesh there.. they seem to be raised up from the flesh by a couple mm at the moment.

they look like it to me but Id like confirmation from someone who has seen frogspawn branch before.

yes they are... from my experience, only the buds that are facing the light will usually make it...

Cool, thanks! I looked around the whole coral and there are about 10 of them. It's good to know that my hard work is paying off with some growth

It's a baby polyp, but most of the shaded ones will die out.
I thought that was kind of a waste, so I decided to frag one off.
About a month ago I cut one of those little polyps , and expoxied it to a small piece of LR. It's growing out nicely, about doubled it's size (to about 3/4").

I dont think that they will die the mother feeds it till it can use the light.Its just not a tank thing in the wild they would grow the same way
