ASM Skimmers for a reef?

I have been researching the skimmers online and have noticed that all the sites have jacked up the prices of the skimmers by $30-$60 this week since last week they were cheaper. Did the company mandate this price increase or are they treating the skimmers like how the oil companies work? I wonder if we have laws against this type of business arrangement.

ASM did mandate a price increase for online retailers, and if you don't follow it they may not sell to that retailer any more.

Thanks for the ASM link. I've been pricing the G2 for a while and they definitely have the best price, so I just ordered one.

yeah, i am guessing so many people complained that they took back the price jack. anyone know the story? and asmskimmer.com had raised them. i still got my g4x for 355 shipped after the price increase, so i was good either way.
