Post your par numbers from the 39w fixture, at what depth, and height of fixture from water.
I have a 36" long tank that is 25" tall. I would like to know about what to expect par to be at the bottom of the tank. I would hang fixture 6-8" off water surface.

Is the 36" fixture less than the 24" and 48" fixture? The 24" and 36" fixtures share the same ballast.

This would all depend on the number of bulbs you were using and the types of bulbs used as well. I have a two 36" 8 bulb fixtures with mostly Blue+, but 1 Coral+ and 1 Purple+. I get 400-500 PAR under the surface, and 150-200 near the sand bed. My fixture is 10" above water. It is a 36" fixture over a 48" x48" tank. The corners are the lower spots. I can grow everything under them. They are the ATI Sunpowers. Hope that helps.

My tank is 24" tall. I have 2 Sunpowers side by side on a 4 ft cube. So basically I have 16 bulbs. Some of my bulbs are actinic and don't put out much PAR.
