Attaching a soft frag

I've got a decent size frag of carnation coral, that I need to attach to a rock. I tried thick super glue with no luck. I'm hesitant to rubber band it as I have had poor results doing that in the past.

Any sugestions?

hmmm i cant say i have tried to attach a carnation coral... but perhaps you can use some netting material with wider holes (not the fine netting) and tie the netting around a rock with the coral inbetween. My leather (similar soft coral) attached itself to a rock after only a week... so you might just want to try gently wedging it between two peices of rock in a low flow area, and let it attach naturally... hope this helps.

Poke a plastic toothpick horizontaly, near the bottom of the stalk & rubberband the toothpick (both ends) to the rock.

I use a needle and fishing line.

They are almost impossible to keep alive... Treat like a sun coral. they like the shade & need to be spot fed.
