While our club president Matt was doing his thing, I took some pictures. :) I'd say there were probably 100 people present, but Cathy (our membership coordinator) wasn't here to count as she and her family are currently on vacation.

Here he is getting warmed up.

The agenda

Matt took the time to let new members introduce themselves, including a couple that drove up from Waco and joined immediately.

He (Matt on the left) then awarded Matt (on the right) with the scholarship that DFWMAS gives once a year to budding Marine Biologists.

Once that was done, he gave his talk on Fish Disease. It was well-prepared and easy to follow.

And then we wrapped up with our raffle.

I should be at the next one....just been having too many health issues to deal with lately, but I'm on the mend now and plan on attending the September meeting......

:)

I missed the meeting as well due to work but plan on attending in Sept also it is two days before leaving for MACNA.

Is it really? I didn't look at the dates closely. Next month is going to be a busy one with back to back fishy stuff. :)

thats insane that you took pictures of all the slides.

Matt did a fantastic job with his first presentation! Another great meeting and raffle on a Wednesday night!

Ryan, its easier than taking notes. One click, and I've got a permanent copy of the information at my fingertips forever. :D

you know, i have never thought about that, but that is an excellent idea, have to remember to take my cam next time, any plans of the ppt being available to people for download? meeting was great btw, learned some interesting new stuff, the rotating method for ich dips was the most intrigueing, i hope not to have to try it, but if it comes up, i think i might, thanks matt
