Here's a couple of shot of my Aussie Elegence. I have had it a couple of months and it is doing well. I am feeding it fresh shrimp from the local grocery.

Beautiful Elegance!
I hope you don't mind me making a couple of suggestions. You may want to test that shrimp from the grocery store for phosphates. I think you will be shocked at what you find. If you were able to turn the flow down a little the coral would open up much fuller.

Don't mind at all. I will check for the phosphates. When I first got this guy he was doing well and I turned down the flow to let him open up, but he retreated. I am hoping that now that he has been it the tank and is well situated that I can turn it down with better results.

You are very welcome! Let me know what you find with the phosphate test. I am just curious. Mine was off the charts and every time I suggest someone test theirs it comes back the same way.

I've noticed a lot of the Aussie elegances I've seen have the thicker tentacles like yours.

Does the elegance have light purple tips?
