australian elegance

I was looking at a vendors site who was selling "australian elegance" corals and claiming, "these are the ones that live" Not that I'm going to buy it anyway, I'm just curious, is there any truth to that statement or are they just trying to sell fast before they die in their tank

I saw that same add. The dark Green one is nice. While I have not tried an Aussie Elegance myself it would make since to me that they would be hardier. They would have no need to dive to 60ft. to find them there.

I've had 2 in the last 4 years and both died. The first bailed out and the 2nd wasted away. I've known other people here that have had similar problems. While they don't seem to be as frail as the ones you get over there, we still have our share of deaths.

I have had good luck with the Aussie elegance so far. Have had a few for a good month now. I recently, 2 weeks ago, even experimented and fragged one of mine, and both frags are still doing well, as is the mother. The fragged mother even fed this last weekend.
